The Tea Bag

I see a tea bag steeping in hot water. A pleasant aroma is stabbing the crisp air.  The tea is not in a cup, but a vase.  The vase is not extravagant or ornate, however it is attractive. Resting on a lamp stand the vase stretches upward and reaches to the ceiling. The steam does not rise, but falls slowly toward the ground.

As wild flower and wild herbs you have been collected and processed.  Put together in one place and immersed into kingdom waters.  As you “steep” in the presence the sweet aroma of praise and thanks emit from the vase; you and Creator- partnership.  As the aroma of the kingdom fills the air the sent falls like rain and waters all those who can inhale it.  You have been set up high and apart so that many can come to scent of your garden. You have been placed in a seemingly ordinary vase so that it is only the aroma that attracts.  Feed those who come to you- disciple and train with love and encouragement.  The only way to feed properly is to steep and remain in the waters.

On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. John 14:20
