Simply Be

Dearest One,

Beloved, how I desire you to know me.  How I desire to know you.  Come to the table and eat freely.  Do not be worried or distracted.  I want to show you more than you have seen, more than you could ever imagine.  The time has come and the times have passed when secret things were withheld from you.  I, the Revealer, desire to grant to you- understanding, wisdom, digression, peace, and diplomacy. (Eph 1:4-8)

How long has it been?  How long since we spoke? When was the last time you sought me so that I could seek you?  I miss you.  Do not feel condemned or ashamed- come and be with me.  I want to take you into deep chambers of my love and refresh you.  I have many jars overflowing with the oils of joy and gladness; how I long to pour it over you.  (PS 45:7) Come with me into the holy and secret place- a place that I have prepared for you.  Peace. Be still and know Me. I am not as interested in what you can do for me as you may have thought.  You are enough for me.  I don’t need to be lavished upon, I don’t need to be woo’d.  I love you because you are.  And I AM. Just be.  I will open your eyes to the reality of my love for you.  (SOS 2:16) You may find that once there were things you were “doing” that just don’t matter.  Don’t be embarrassed, and don’t hide from Me.  My children are always hiding. (Gen 3:10) I am a Good Father, and I cherish those who love Me.  I pour favor on those who seek Me and obey my Word.  For they are mine and I am theirs and all I have shall be given to them as an inheritance.  (John 14:20)

No longer will darkness cast its shadow upon the hearts of my beloved children.  Hear as I ready my armies- my war chiefs- mighty battling angels.  (Matt 11:12) They will make war on those who would harm my creation.  Yes, I am their Creator and they are mine.  They have purpose and I will be theirs forever if they would have Me.  Come and dwell in the secret place, beloved; the place where I can protect you and keep you safe from your enemies, seen and unseen. I will protect you, my love. (Ps 91:1) See that I am sending you healing- a cure.  See that I am providing in troubling times.  Don’t forget me as I establish you- don’t forget me as I set you upon the rock of salvation; to be whole, to be one with me, to be removed from your troubled heart and the sorrows of this world. (Deut 6:12)

One day you and I will dance together.  One day you will see me with your very own eyes.  (2 Cor 5:8) Until then, beloved, be strong.  Be willing.  Know Me in every way you can until then.  (Eph 6:10-20)
